Doorway widening

About Us

Help with Housing is a local organization, founded in Clarke County Virginia in 1988 to serve our neighbors in need.

In 1990 we completed 5 projects in Clarke County.
Last year we spent $127,547 on 97 projects.in the areas that we serve.
So far this year we have spent $77,076 on 46 projects, and we have close to 80 more projects on our waiting list, equaling between $160,000 and $200,000 in project expense.

We count on individual and corporate donations and grants to help us continue to meet the increasing needs in this difficult economy and as the aging population increases.

Most of our clients are elderly or disabled. All of them are surviving by means barely imaginable to the rest of us. There are many ways you can help, even if you have little money to give. Visit our support page to find out how you can help your neediest neighbors improve their living conditions.
